Outrage???

This is rich!  So, Cardinal Ouellet makes a remark that abortion is bad in all cases, including when the pregnancy  is the result of rape, since it produces a second victim after an already horrendous crime.  And what do the enlightened politicians and activists do?  They express their outrage at such comments, which in their mind fly in the face of women's progress over the last decades...
Now just think about it: what are they really saying?  That women have made progress by being allowed to kill and become perpetrators of crimes?  That they have made progress by shedding their great, natural propensity to love and protect their children?  That the Cardinal should not express his opinion about a current phenomenon he finds disturbing and therefore that freedom of expression should be curtailed?  Did they stop to think about what they were saying before making fools of themselves?
Most likely they have no clue of how fool they are, since current philosophical beliefs prevent them from thinking.  As long as they follow the mantras of the shouting and mindless leaders, they feel good.  And isn't "feeling good" what is all about for them?
May the good Lord save us from these people and their horrid ideas.  And may He shed the real light on their darkened minds.
And if you are still in doubt about how dark their minds are, just read some of the delirious comments left by some CBC readers.  Amazing and scary!
